The archive was established spontaneously, with a sense of urgency to preserve the traces of our town’s history. The collection is structured according to the type of the sources. Not all of them are in our possession, we often present copies made accessible by other private or institutional disposers. At this place we would like to express our thanks to all of them, especially to the Kórnik Library of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the University Library in Poznań for the possibility to present the press clippings from their collections, as well as to the Zbąszyń Land and the Goat Region Museum in Zbąszyń, which made the notes of the former Franiszek Zierke accessible. We are counting on the collection being continuously developed.
